Life in the Deep

Water at 6500 feet does not boil, not even at 752 degrees, pressure, so much pressure weighing down, changing physical laws as we know them, and yet there is life here, blind, deaf life, but life none the less, and is there beauty in this life, meaning in it? Is there worth in creatures living within a dark, soundless cocoon? Some would say as much beauty, meaning and worth as in mine, or yours, with all its vibrancy and existential awareness.
